Designing Bumble’s new personalised recommendations feature

Bumble is one of the biggest dating apps in the world, helping millions of singles find connections. They changed the dynamics of dating by having women make the first move.
The challenge
With so many people to consider, finding people you’re into isn’t always easy for our members, especially women. Our members were tired of swiping through people who don’t appeal and aren’t relevant to them.
An opportunity to create a new line of revenue from female members who are looking to save time and find appealing profiles faster.
I led the design of a feature For You, a new space in the app where members can go to find daily recommendations of people we think you’re most compatible with.
